Busy month of visitors take 2

My Beckie came while my parents were here. (warning, long post with lots of pictures)

While we had all 8 of us, we did some fun things.
First we went to the local farm. The girls loved looking at the baby animals (pigs, sheep, cows)

And of course they had to ride the tractors.

We celebrated Easter together, it was nice having family around for a holiday.
Monday after Easter Andrew took the day off and we decided to go into DC and see something new. Our first stop was the National Arboretum. We took a drive around to see any blooming trees but were disappointed. Our tummies were grumbling so we found a nice place to eat lunch by this cool fish pond. Then we found some Japanese flower arrangements called Ikebana. They were unbelievable. Just simply stunning.

Then there were the Bonsai trees. WOW!

After the arboretum we went to the National Harbor

to see the Awakening.

Elanor was scared of the statue but found it fun to play in the water.

We all had a lot of fun. Andrew stayed with sleeping Charlotte.
Charlotte is full of giggles.
