Halloween this year was very traditional as Andrew put it. This week has been my week to work at preschool so Andrew took Friday off to work for me and since it was Halloween he got to see all the kiddos dressed in their best costume.

The kiddos had a little parade outside to show off their costumes to each other and the parents. Then off went most of the costumes (wore them over regular clothes) and onto a regular day of preschool (however that goes on such an exciting holiday).
This year we were pretty excited about Halloween, Sophie was into it and we actually live in a neighborhood with lots of little kiddos. Our neighborhood holds a parade with a police car escort, then a potluck in the cul-de-sac area. We lucked out that the weather warmed up just in time for Halloween (it was in the 60s).

Trying to get a better shot before trick or treating

After the potluck the girls and I walked around trick or treating. They both did really well and Sophie said "Trick or Treat" at most houses, with a little prompting from Mom. Andrew stayed home and handed out candy. We only went to two streets but came home with their bags full of candy. I guess it really helps living in townhouses.

The girls look adorable! I wish I could have gone out trick-or-treating with them. :)
