This past weekend it was just us girls. Andrew headed up to Boston for a fun expo and us girls hung out at the house. Thursday night was normal except for the fact that the girls were so excited for our Friday activities it took them forever to fall asleep.
On Friday we headed to McDonald's for dinner. This is an exciting thing here, we don't eat out often and not normally fast food. The girls were so good at the restaurant, the couple sitting next to us complimented me on their behavior. After dinner and putting Charlotte to bed I made some popcorn and other treats for our movie night. The big chair and ottoman were moved closer to the TV for our viewing comfort and we snuggled while watching Molly: An American Girl on the Homefront. It is an exciting thing in our house to stay up past bedtime. My biggest laugh was that Elanor lasted longer Thursday night than the night she could stay up. Oh well. Sophie and I finished watching the movie together and then she headed right to bed.
Saturday was a boring day. We just hung out at the house playing and reading. The girls went on a fun bike ride with a neighbor while I made cookies. And then we just waited for the time to pick Andrew up. He had a lot of fun and brought us home some new board games.
